Ludmilla opens her heart in “Altas Horas” and talks about music dedicated to her wife and daughter

Singer Ludmilla starred in one of the most exciting moments of “Altas Horas” this Saturday (1/11). Visibly touched, she introduced the audience to the song “Paraíso”, the first track from her new album, composed in honor of her wife Bruna Gonçalves and .

“This song is a feeling, it is very special for me, because I wrote it together with some friends, for my wife, Bruna, and for Zuri, my daughter who was just born. I’m living my best phase, and I’m, like, feeling in paradise, which is the name of the song”, said Ludmilla, smiling and emotional, before singing on stage.

During the conversation with Serginho Groisman, the artist, from their discreet courtship to the moment they decided to publicly admit their relationship. “Before we dated in secret, we were afraid of everything and everyone. But after we decided to reveal ourselves, and many other couples too, we helped many families, many stories; and our baby was born, which was our dream. So this song is a story of our story, basically”, he stated.

In the performance, Ludmilla performed verses that talk about courage, love and transformation: “It gave me courage to live / Love, oh / You make me what I am / Life now has color / Paradise is calling you / Love”.

In the program shown this past Saturday (1/11), Serginho Groisman put together a special edition that intensely celebrated the trajectories of Ludmilla and Arnaldo Antunes, two icons of Brazilian music and different genres, funk/pop and rock/poetry. They were also invited to talk about the careers of artists Priscilla, Veigh, Paulo Miklos, Zélia Duncan, Samuel Rosa and Ana Frango Elétrico.
