The truth is that sometimes you can devote a lot of time to caring for an orchid, and out of spite it does not grow new buds. How should an orchid be cared for so that it blooms profusely? Of course, in addition to providing the plant with appropriate conditions, we must not forget to provide it with specific nutrients. There is a great one that makes my plant bloom all year round. How to prepare it? I add 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt to 1 liter of boiled, stale water or rainwater, mix and water the orchid once a week. Well, Epsom salt contains magnesium sulfate, which helps produce chlorophyll and strengthen the plant’s resistance to pathogens.
Orchid care
You should follow a few rules and they will bloom beautifully. First of all, these are plants that need to be watered quite often, while being careful not to overwater them. The best solution is to moisturize, i.e. water the orchid once a week and after a while remove excess water from the base of the pot. The color of the orchid’s roots will be helpful in determining the appropriate watering frequency. If they are green, refrain from watering the plant. Once they are white, you can go ahead and grab the watering can.
How to shine orchid leaves?
However, we must not forget to wipe the leaves from dust, which not only is not good for the plants (and our health), but also affects their appearance. and how to clean dust from flower leaves? To shine orchid leaves, use standing water mixed with a few drops of lemon juice. Wipe the leaves with this mixture using cotton pads or a soft cloth. Lemon water can also be used as a conditioner for orchids.
