His grandmother showed that she continues to live with him, even after the legal fight with his father.

Murilo Huff obtained unilateral custody of Léo, aged 5, this year, as a result of his relationship with Marília Mendonça, who died in a plane crash in 2021. The decision was taken at the end of June, after a conciliation hearing with Dona Ruth, at the Civil Forum of Goiânia (GO). The judge ordered that the singer remain with temporary custody of the child until the end of the process. Léo lived with his grandmother since his mother’s death. The case was revealed exclusively by LeoDias portal.
Days after the hearing, in a note to Fantástico, on TV Globo, Murilo stated that he tried to reach an amicable agreement with his ex-mother-in-law before the legal process, but without success. Even with custody of his son, the singer highlighted that he does not intend to remove Léo from his mother’s family.
Marília’s mother, in turn, said that the relationship with Huff’s family was always respectful, until the legal dispute began: “We always had a respectful relationship, right? It was always respectful […] he [Léo] He always lived with his family there and he loves his father. So, I always wanted him to live with everyone together. There was a coexistence until he [Murilo] go there and ask for custody”, he declared at the time.
