A well-known MEP who came into conflict with Fico won almost a million in the lottery: Ah, what will he use the money for!

Czech MEP Tomáš Zdechovský came to the attention of Slovaks after, at the end of May led the control mission of the European Parliament’s Committee for Budgetary Control in Slovakia. They focused on the state of withdrawal of European funds. At that time, he came into conflict with Prime Minister Robert Fico, who marked for a hitman from abroad hired by the opposition.

Zdechovský bragged on the X social network with a message that would please everyone. The MEP won the lottery. “Sometimes people bet a few crowns… So nice evening,” he wrote and attached a screenshot revealing that won 933,552 Czech crowns, i.e. 38,365 euros. Under the contribution, he added how he will use the money. “All the money will go to charity,” he explained.

He revealed to the website the details of where the money will go. “I will give half a million to repair the churches in Broumovsk, Kraboš and St. Anna in Libava. I will distribute the rest to specific people in the Czech Republic who need help,” Zdechovský let himself be heard.

Beneath the post on the X social network, positive and negative comments began to pour in. “Please give the money to your wife so she doesn’t have to work for the communists in the EU. Otherwise, congratulations on your win, I hope no one will give it to you.” Filip wrote teasingly. The MEP decided to respond to his comment. “Wife works in cardiology,” made it clear to him, thereby refuting his words.

“Can you explain why you’re betting when you’re giving it all to charity?” Otto asked. But Zdechovský did not respond to this comment. “Congratulations. And giving it all to charity is a nice gesture. So you’re not just a populist ho**do collecting likes. I’m writing to myself,” someone else wrote. You can read more comments in the gallery.
