How do Flamengo elections work?

Club members who have at least three years of association with the team are eligible to vote. There are members of the General Assembly who can also vote. They are: Great Benefactors, Benefactors, Emeritus, Redeemed, Laureates, Owner, Patrimonial and Contributor.

To win the election, it is necessary to win a simple majority of votes. However, the total number of votes received by each ticket can directly influence the balance of power in the club.

If the winning ticket obtains more than 80% of the votes, it will have the right to occupy all seats on the Deliberative and Administrative Councils, eliminating any opposition influence in the next three years.
