Volêi: qual a treta entre Thaisa e Osasco? image

Last Friday (06/12), player Thaisa Daher, from Minas, was the target of objects being thrown by fans during a match between Osasco and Minas, in Osasco, for the Women’s Superliga. The match was at Ginásio José Liberatti, in Osasco, São Paulo, and Minas won by 3 sets to 2.

Thaisa worked in the city for years, defending the colors of Finasa/Osasco (2008 to 2009) and Nestlé/Osasco (2009 to 2016). In an interview with Sportv2, the center said:

– I think rooting against, cheering, is part of the game. It’s normal. Swearing even happens. But they go overboard with athletes. It’s very disrespectful. I feel very sad, mainly because I know that I gave my life when I was here, so, there was a lot of lack of respect not only towards me, but towards the other players – lamented the player.

– It’s very sad that you come to the club where you played for many years, won a World Cup and you receive aggression for throwing things at us. It’s the second time I’ve been playing against and this happens. It’s sad. They have also done a lot of offensive things with Adenízia, who also played here for years and years – added Thaisa.

Thaisa disputes Osasco note

Two-time Olympic champion with the Brazilian team, Thaisa did not like the statement released by her former club. She took advantage of social media to contest the statement.

– This note of clarification they gave, saying that they removed the fan, is a lie. I received Viva Vôlei, I went to greet the fans and he was there. I saw who played. Some people stood in front of him, trying to hide him, but he remained sitting, in the same place he played, until I left the court. So, they didn’t take it off. They are trying to minimize the situation. CBV, you need to intervene, because it wasn’t just me. It has happened other times – he protested.
