The screen pulses red, my character is on the ground and panting. There is another player standing above me. He has the gun pointed at my head. He could shoot me and take my loot. Or he could help me up. Instead, his voice crackles through the voice chat: “Sing for me. If you want me to revive you, then sing a song.”
