How do I remove dried fat from a baking tray?
Dried fat on a baking sheet is not only unsightly, but also unhealthy.
Get to know them:
- Sprinkle the baking sheet with dried fat evenly with table salt. Then put the tray in the preheated oven and remove it only when the salt turns brown – the salt absorbed the fat during heating. Then remove the layer of salt from the sheet with a kitchen towel and wash the sheet thoroughly with water and dishwashing detergent.
- Mix baking soda with a little water to create a scrub-like consistency. Spread the prepared solution on a baking sheet and use a cloth or sponge to rub it on the places where the dried grease sticks. The mixture should dissolve quickly. Rinse the cleaned plate thoroughly with warm water.
- Place the tray with the dried grease in the sink, cover with water, add baking soda. Wait an hour and then clean the baking tray with dishwashing liquid. Dirt and dried grease should be easily removed from the sheet.
