The consumer confidence index in the United States prepared by the Conference Board fell to 89.1 in December, compared to 92.9 in November, according to a survey released by the institution this Tuesday, 23. Analysts consulted by FactSet expected a drop to 91.5.
November’s figure was revised upwards from 88.7 originally.
