Jonathan Andic (45 years old) crossed the access threshold to the Martorell courts on May 19 with his head down, handcuffed and escorted by five police officers. In the interior patio of the apartment blocks that house the court headquarters, the plastic slats on the windows and the metal blinds on the ground floor shielded the scene from the swarm of journalists trying to capture what was happening inside. Andic was released but with a bail of one million euros to avoid jail, as a suspect of the founder of Mango, Isak Andic. Now begins the defense’s turn, determined to dismantle an investigation built on evidence, contradictions and technical experts, without direct proof of what happened. This is how the second starts round of the Andic case, that is fought both in the courts and outside of them.
