The directors of and of met in Brasília this Wednesday (11) and discussed the expansion of alliances in the states and in the National Congress. The two parties have been talking in recent months about the possibility of forming a federation.
The president of Podemos, Renata Abreu, and three Tucano representatives participated in the meeting: the party’s general secretary, deputy Paulo Abi-Ackel (MG), and his federal bench colleagues Aécio Neves (MG) and Beto Richa (PR).
The conversation took place in Aécio’s office. “I received federal deputy Renata Abreu, national president of Podemos, in my office in the Chamber of Deputies to assess the country’s political-party framework,” he said.
The PSDB with the 2026 election in its sights. There are also possibilities of forming a federation with Solidariedade and PDT.
