The president of USA, Donald Trump attacked the new year’s eve against the actor George Clooney for having obtained French citizenship and even took the opportunity to affirm that France suffers from a “serious crime problem” because of immigration.
In a message posted on his Truth Social network, the American president states that The fact that George and Amal Clooney have acquired French nationality is “good news” because they are “two of the worst political forecasters of all time.”
“They have officially become citizens of France, which unfortunately finds itself in the middle of a serious crime problem due to its terrible management of the immigration, very similar to the one we had with sleepy Joe Biden,” says President Trump.

The French Foreign Ministry justified the granting of French nationality to George Clooney and his family for their contribution, thanks to the notoriety of the American actor, the influence and the international image from France.
In France, Clooney has been decorated as an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters in 2016 and both he and his wife have a “permanent residence”, specifically a large property in the town of Brignoles, on the Côte d’Azur.
