Two strong earthquakes in central Venezuela have shaken the coastal country. They have had their epicenter northwest of Montalbán (Carabobo State), in the central region of the country. The president, Delcy Rodríguez, has declared a state of emergency, pending an assessment of the damage. There is still no official data on possible victims. The movement has caused the fall of various buildings in Caracas, Trujillo, Carabobo, Aragua, Miranda and La Guaira. Videos circulating on social networks show dozens of collapses.
