Two cars are stranded after heavy rain in Caraguatatuba (SP)

Heavy rains and intense winds, which began this Monday (29), hit the municipality of Caraguatatuba, located on the coast of São Paulo, during this week. Due to the storms, Several areas of the city faced flooding.

According to Civil Defense, at the time, there was no need to remove residents from the site.

Furthermore, on Wednesday night (31), according to the Fire Department, assistance was needed to remove a victim from the car.

“The State’s Civil Defense continues to continuously monitor meteorological conditions, with the Crisis Office mobilized and integrated action with public and private bodies, in addition to municipalities to mitigate risks, quickly respond to incidents and provide guidance to the population”, informed the agency.
