Representatives of 35 states from the “Coalition of the Willing” to protect Ukraine met in Paris on Tuesday. In a statement, they pledged to “restore peace and security following an armed attack by Russia.” This passage reaffirms, without saying it, Article 5 of the NATO agreement, in which the partner states promise each other military assistance.
