Zurich – Ukraine has demanded an apology from FIFA, the world football governing body, for using an incorrect map of Europe in the draw for qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. During the explanations before the lottery tickets were drawn on Friday, a video showed a map that did not show the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea as part of Ukraine.
