The passage of the Kristin Depression along the Portuguese coast left a lot of damage, especially during the early hours of the morning, and one of the most visible cases occurred in Figueira da Foz.
The ferris wheel installed in Parque das Gaivotas ended up not being able to resist the force of the wind. Located north of the mouth of the Mondego River, the structure was affected by the intense atmospheric agitation that was felt during the night, becoming one of the symbols of the damage caused by bad weather in the region.
