Washington – The US Federal Reserve is leaving the key interest rate unchanged for the first time after three cuts. In its first decision this year, the majority of the twelve-member Central Bank Council voted to maintain the key interest rate in the range of 3.5 to 3.75 percent. The majority of economists had assumed such a step.
