The PSD is today the party in the country with the largest number of governors, five in total.
Three of them, . (PR), (RS) and (GO) – which announced its affiliation this week – are considered for the presidential race.
The party’s other two governors are Fábio Mitidieri (SE) and (PE), who must run for re-election in their states. The first has declared that he will support Lula’s reappointment to Planalto.
“There is a real possibility of an alliance with President Lula, which was discussed with me by the president himself.
