Social networks have been dominated by a trend in which people remember what happened in their lives in 2016. On their profiles, they share archival photos, videos and describe the most powerful moments that happened to them ten years ago. The singer and actress Nela Pocisková (35) did not avoid it either. The Slovak artist usually guards her privacy, but this time she made an exception.
Pocisková shared intimate images, which until now were intended only for the eyes of those closest to her. “I don’t like to go with the flow, but here I said to myself that 2016 changed my life from the ground up. My son was born and I became a mother. What’s more. No success, just the feeling that I gave him (them) everything I knew.” the mother of two poured her heart out. After Hektor, their family with Filip Tům grew in 2018 with the addition of their daughter Lianka.
The publication of private images was a big step for Pocisková. “I’ve never shown anything like this, I didn’t even know about Instagram. I have so many beautiful photos that every time I scroll through them, I’m happy that I was given this.” she wrote with emotion.
The innocent status about what being a mother means to her was probably not met with understanding by everyone. “I don’t know if motherhood is like a ceiling? After all, they are born into this destruction. What awaits them? Just being scammed alive,” one woman commented on Pocisková’s photo from 10 years ago.
It did not leave the actress and singer cold. “I choose from thousands of bad ones around. This is what makes us where we are.” she added and continued. “To all those who wish bad luck, I wish they could get that energy back, or start loving the little bit of time we have here.” she finished.
