Monika Jákliová († 31), the former partner of the famous wrestler Gábor Boráros, died tragically on Wednesday, January 21. The young woman’s premature death deeply affected the whole family and her friends. Her mother Mária in an open interview for a Hungarian portal she described the difficult time her daughter had to face in the last few months.
According to available information, the tragedy occurred in the section between the town of Veľký Meder and the village of Dolný Štál in the district of Dunajská Streda. The successful fitness model was supposed to lose control of the vehicle at a curve there, go off the road and hit the trees. The car was subsequently engulfed in flames, while the collision was caused by the high speed of the female driver. Police have released horrifying footage of the accident, which you can find in the gallery.
The late Monika’s mother admitted that she had noticed disturbing changes in her daughter for a long time. Although she seemed calm on the outside, behind closed doors she must have been troubled. “She was telling me she was tired. Not physically, but mentally. She felt a lot of pressure,” she recalls with tears in her eyes. Although the family perceived that it was going through something difficult, at that time everyone still hoped that it was only a temporary crisis.
Mária also revealed that her daughter revealed a certain secret to her shortly before the tragedy. Despite the fact that she refused to talk about this topic publicly, it was a serious personal burden that fundamentally affected her experience and mental state. “She didn’t want to talk about it in front of people, but I feel like it played a key role in her life.” opines the devastated mother who she emphasized that her goal is not to find the culprit. The hardest news for my daughter
The late fitness influencer left a legacy daughter Zora, whom she raised with MMA fighter Gábor Boráros. He confided to his fans on Wednesday, January 28 on the social network that she has to tell her own child the most painful news in her life. At the same time, he also consulted a psychologist.
He displayed photos of his ex-partner with her daughter in his home. “The doctor said that we have to display such photos, so I did it yesterday. Zora also helped and chose which photos she wanted to see there. The last farewell to Jákliová took place on Thursday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the village of Dolný Štál. The funeral took place only a few kilometers from the scene of the accident.
