Dano Dangl (51) was the captain of the popular show I love Slovakia for many years, but that is already in the past. STVR CEO Martina Flašíková canceled the show in 2025, and since February it has been a regular part of the Jojky program. In the new television, there was also a change in the lineup, and Dangla was replaced by Matej Sajfa Cifra.
The director and entertainer told the portal that he has his fingers crossed for both captains. “It was my decision not to continue the show. I think the audience is looking forward to them,” he responded last year. Even with the passage of time, he is not sad that he ended the project for good. “You know what, I’m like that when I make a decision, it’s made. Then I look to the future and I don’t regret anything at all.” emphasized Dangl.
When asked if he watched Milujem Slovensko on Jojka, he did not hesitate at all and answered honestly. “I confess that I did not watch Miluje Slovensko, even when I acted in it. So that’s the way it is… It’s an excellent show and I’m not surprised that people watch it and like it, because it’s a really good project. But I must confess that I did not see it,” he admitted openly.
Initially, it was speculated that the situation surrounding the popular entertainment show could tear up the long-standing friendship of Dangl and Vincze, but nothing of the sort happened. The pair continue to work together and even have plans for the future. “Coincidentally, we were talking about doing something together here, in this theater (Slovenský umelecký dvor, editor’s note). Some kind of talk show. I would really enjoy that,” he confided.
As far as TV formats are concerned, the U Adely show, which is broadcast on Prime, is enough for him. Vincze is the face of the show and he is the producer. “We enjoy it. We prepare it together, even if the result is only about her. But no, somehow there was no time to prepare for anything else. I’m premiering two films, so I don’t have time for anything else. In addition, she has two children, so these circumstances were kind of tearing us apart at this moment.” added Dangl.
