Candidate for President of the Republic agrees with the measures announced by Luís Montenegro regarding bad weather. We need to act quickly.
The presidential candidate António José Seguro he said this Sunday that “it is not indifferent” the number of votes obtained and that “it is not enough to win by one”, because the next President of the Republic must have “reinforced electoral legitimacy”, also promising social peace.
“The number of votes does not matter this application has. It’s not enough to win for one. Because the next President of the Republic has to leave with a reinforced electoral legitimacy“, said António José Seguro, at a rally at Teatro Cine de Gouveia, Guarda district.
On early voting day, the candidate supported by the PS argued that “the more votes you have, the more political strength you have to make the parties, the Government and Parliament do what they should, which is to contribute, within their projects, to solving the problems of the Portuguese”.
But it was spread among supporters that the Victory against André Ventura is not guaranteed: you have to go and vote.
The former PS leader considered it necessary for everyone to bring friends, family, neighbors or co-workers to vote “for the candidacy that projects hope, that wants to make Portugal a modern country and a fair country, that wants to bring stability, that wants to bring social peace”.
“Right direction”
António José Seguro considered that those announced by the Government to respond to Storm Kristin “go in the right direction”, arguing that the important thing is that they reach people and companies quickly and without bureaucracy.
“Firstly, it seems to me that the measures that the Prime Minister announced today go in the right direction. What is important is that arrive as quickly as possible to people, companies and families who are in difficulty. We know the traditional state bureaucracy, There can be no bureaucracy here”, replied Seguro to journalists, at the end of the same rally.
According to the candidate with the most votes in the first round of the presidential elections, “people are experiencing a moment of affliction”.
“These measures that go in the right direction have to reach companies quickly, they have to reach people quickly so that they can rebuild their lives, their heritage and return to normality. That’s what I want”, he appealed.
