Acre occupies 3rd place in the national ranking in issuance of the new identity card

Acre can now celebrate a good performance in the race for the new model of the National Identity Card (CIN). The State occupies third place in the national ranking of emissions, according to data from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, with 291,243 documents issued. The number represents 33.07% of the Acre population, estimated at 880,631 inhabitants.

The first place in the ranking went to Piauí, where more than half of the population has already adhered to the new document. Of the 3,375,646 residents, 1,781,332 people (52.77%) already have a CIN. Next comes Sergipe, with 785,093 emissions, in a universe of 2,291,077 residents.

At the other end of the survey is Pará, which records the worst performance in the country. Only 181,516 people, equivalent to 2.09% of the population, issued the new identity. The state has 8,664,306 inhabitants.

How to obtain a National Identity Card?

It replaces the old ID and starts using the CPF as the unique identification number throughout the country. The document can also be used when traveling to Mercosur countries, as long as it is in good condition and was issued less than ten years ago.

To request the document, it is necessary to present original documents or legible certified copies, whether in physical or digital format.

  • CPF (if you do not have one, you must inform the customer service)
  • Birth certificate (for singles)
  • Marriage certificate (for married couples)
  • Naturalization certificate (for naturalized Brazilians)
