The live one loses more and more needles over time. Instead of throwing them away, we can use them in many different ways. Thanks to them, we can clean more effectively, protect our plants or relax in a pleasant bath. Discover the most interesting ways to use fallen Christmas tree needles.

Even though Christmas tree needles fall and make a mess, they can also be a valuable help when cleaning up. It turns out that we can prepare cleaning liquid from them. It is perfect for polishing mirrors, glass and dishes. Its recipe has been known and used for years.

We can use to create this home cleaning product needles from fir, spruce or pine twigs. After collecting the appropriate amount, you can start preparing the cleaning liquid. To do this, you should:

1. Place the needles in a 1-liter jar.
2. Pour vinegar over them so that they are thoroughly covered with the liquid.
3. Close the jar and set it aside for 2-3 weeks.
4. After this time, strain the mixture and dilute it with water in a 1:1 ratio.
5. Pour the resulting liquid into a spray bottle.

The advantage of this solution is that the resulting liquid will work not only for the above-mentioned polishing, but also for… perfect for washing floors. Thanks to it, there will be no streaks left on our parquet floor. What’s more, this home remedy can also be used used for removal on the shower cabin.

However, this is not the only reason not to throw away Christmas tree needles. We can also use them in other interesting ways that will make our house smell beautiful or allow us to take care of our plants. Here are other ways to use fallen needles:

• Air freshener – to do this, simply pour the needles into a ceramic bowl and place it on the radiator. Thanks to the high temperature, they will slowly release their scent, spreading it around the room.
• Bath salt – if you want to prepare a relaxing bath, place a handful of needles on a tray and dry them on the radiator overnight. The next day, grind them into dust and mix with two handfuls of coarse salt. Place this mixture in a jar and set aside for 2 days. After this time, our aromatic bath salt is ready for use.
• In this do bath – sticking to pleasant baths, we can also prepare bath bombs from needles. Prepare a powder from a handful of needles, just like you would with bath salts, and then mix it with one cup of baking soda, 1/3 cup of citric acid and a few drops of any essential oil. Add 1/3 cup of liquid coconut oil and mix everything. We form balls from the resulting mass, leave them for a few hours in a ventilated place, and then use them for bathing.
• Mulching – fallen needles from the Christmas tree will also be useful in the garden. We can use them to mulch plants. They will retain moisture in the ground, stop the growth of weeds and additionally protect our specimens against frost.
