Government of SP holds public consultation for water works – 02/08/2026 – Panel

The Government has extended until the 25th a public consultation for its water security project in the basin, a system known as PCJ. The intention is to collect suggestions from the population.

Prepared by the Secretariat for Investment Partnerships (SPI), the security project aims to promote improvements in the use of water, ensuring more regular supply, especially during periods of drought.

With an estimated investment of R$311 million, the works to strengthen the PCJ system should cover 21 cities. They are Americana, Amparo, Artur Nogueira, Atibaia, Bom Jesus dos Perdões, Campinas, Cosmópolis, Holambra, Hortolândia, Itatiba, Jaguariúna, Limeira, Louveira, Monte Mor, Nova Odessa, Paulínia, Pedreira, Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, Sumaré, Valinhos and Vinhedo.
