The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), announced that he forwarded the proposed amendment to the Constitution (PEC) at the end of the 6×1 scale to the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) of the Chamber, this Monday, 9.

In a note, the president of the Chamber informed that the measure encompasses the PECs signed by deputies Reginaldo Lopes (PT-MG) and Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP). After analysis by the CCJ, an examination by a special commission is also necessary.

On social network X, Motta promised a “broad debate” on the subject. “We will listen to all sectors with balance and responsibility to deliver the best law for Brazilians”, he wrote.
