Baked potato slices with herbs. An insanely delicious addition to dinner

You usually serve classic boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes or fries for dinner and would you like a little change? If so, bet on herbal potato slices. To prepare them, you will only need potatoes, a few spices and olive oil. They go perfectly with baked fish, chicken or turkey. You can also serve them with yogurt and garlic sauce. They will surely disappear from your plates in no time.

To prepare this recipe you will need:

  • 400 g potatoes (preferably of equal size),
  • ⅓ teaspoon of granulated garlic,
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper,
  • ½ teaspoon of salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of rosemary,
  • ½ teaspoon of thyme,
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil.

Scrub the potatoes very thoroughly. Don’t peel them, the skin is a delicious addition after baking. Cut them into thicker slices, approximately 1-1.5 cm thick.

Place the potatoes in a bowl, add granulated garlic, sweet paprika, thyme, rosemary and salt. Pour in the olive oil and mix thoroughly so that the spices evenly cover each slice.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and arrange the slices next to each other in one layer. They should not overlap.

Place in the oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 30-40 minutes until the potatoes are golden and crispy.
