Eggs with a distinctive filling. They fit perfectly on the Christmas table

Horseradish and ginger are ingredients that perfectly emphasize the taste of hard-boiled eggs, giving them a distinctive, slightly spicy character. Thanks to them, the classic snack gains a completely new aroma and becomes more interesting in taste. The spicy, slightly burning horseradish goes perfectly with the delicacy of the eggs, while the ginger adds a fresh note. It is worth reaching for these additives not only because of the taste. Horseradish it is rich in vitamin C and natural compounds antibacterial and immune-supporting properties. On the other hand ginger is known for anti-inflammatory and digestive properties. Adding them to the stuffing makes the snack not only more aromatic, but also nutritionally valuable.

Ingredients:

  • 8 eggs,
  • 4 teaspoons of horseradish,
  • a piece of ginger (2-3 cm),
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
  • a spoonful of sour cream,
  • optional 2-3 tablespoons of grated cheese,
  • a pinch of parsley,
  • salt and pepper.

How to do it:

1. Hard-boil the eggs traditionally. Cool them in cold water, peel them and cut them in half. Gently remove the yolks by dropping them into a bowl. Mash them well with a fork. Place the egg whites on a plate.

2. Add horseradish to the yellow one. Peel the ginger and grate it very finely.

3. Finely chop the parsley.

4. Add mayonnaise and cream to the mixture. If you want, also add grated cheese. It will make the stuffing creamier and more delicate. Season with salt and pepper and add finely chopped parsley.

5. Blend everything into a smooth, creamy paste. Taste and add a little more horseradish or pepper if necessary.

6. Use a pastry bag to fill the egg white halves with the ready filling.
