Genial/Quaest: Lula government has a negative rating of 39% and a positive rating of 33% – 02/11/2026 – Politics

The assessment of the Lula (PT) government shows stability, according to the Genial/Quaest survey released this Wednesday (14).

The administration is evaluated negatively by 39% of voters, while 33% rate it positively. Another 26% see the management as regular, and 2% were unable to respond.

The survey, registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number BR-00249/2026, was carried out from February 5th to 9th. 2,004 face-to-face interviews were carried out with Brazilians aged 16 and over. The estimated margin of error is 2 percentage points.

In January, those who negatively evaluated the work of the Lula government were the same 39%. The positive evaluation was 32%, while the regular evaluation was 27%. Another 2% of respondents did not respond or did not know how to respond.

Approval for the registered presidential administration was 45%, and disapproval was 49%. In January, they were 47% and 49%, respectively. In the Northeast, government approval fell 6 percentage points (from 67% to 61%).
