Shares of Petrobras, Vale and Itaú rise on a record day on the stock exchange

While Petrobras’ preferred and common shares rose 2.78% and 4.01%, respectively, supported by the rise in oil prices abroad. Investors are also analyzing figures on the company’s production and sales in the fourth quarter, published on Tuesday night (10).

At the same time, all the banks that are part of Ibovespa also showed appreciation, Itaú Unibanco and Bradesco had an increase of 2.52% and 3.15%. At the same time, Banco do Brasil, which releases its balance sheet after the stock exchange closes this Wednesday, was trading at an increase of 0.48%, Santander registered an increase of 1.31% and BTG Pactual advanced 0.80%.

The shares of Suzano, Tim and Klabin, which released their balance sheets before the market opened, are among the biggest risers on the stock exchange, with increases of 10.88%, 8.89% and 8.85%, respectively.

In addition, the mining, steel and public utility sectors rose en masse on a record day on the stock exchange.

Demand for Brazilian shares remains strong, which makes the main stock market index different from Wall Street, where the main indexes are oscillating downwards this afternoon, in the wake of the release of the payroll employment report numbers.
