Apple releases update with transfer to Android; see the changes

A Apple announced this Wednesday (11) a new update for your operating system, iOS 26.3. Among the new features are the biggest ease of transferring data from iPhones to Android and the ability to restrict automatic data sharing with mobile operators.

Improves integration between devices and fixes critical privacy flaws in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and lock screen, preventing unauthorized access to malicious data and files. The system also introduces new widget layouts and a coarse-to-large location feature, initially restricted to selected operators.

The sharing of information such as photos, notes, applications, passwords and phone numbers may be migrated as cell phones with different software become closer.

In addition, security procedures were updated involving Bluetooth, screen mirroring and Wi-Fi, which allowed malicious files to be transferred to connected devices.

Flaws that allowed a person with physical access to the locked device to view sensitive information, such as accessing photos directly from the lock screen or discovering notes that had already been deleted, have also been fixed.

Apple devices updated to iOS 26.3 will also have the function of limiting precise location, restricting the information provided to cellular networks so that they can only determine a less precise location, instead of identifying your exact address. Right now, the feature is further limited to specific carriers, like Boost Mobile in the US.

The look of the operating system wallpapers has also been changed. The Weather and Astronomy widgets have been separated and have new predefined layouts.
