Zema’s allies focus on criticism of the STF in front of Flávio – 02/15/2026 – Panel

With the presidential candidacy still languishing in the polls, he sees the opportunity to take over the agenda of criticism of the Bolsonaro supporters.

The Minas Gerais governor’s strategists assess that (PL-RJ) supporters have adopted caution when it comes to attacking the Judiciary, with the aim of demonstrating moderation among centrist voters.

With this, they say, there is a chance to differentiate yourself and attract attention in this pre-campaign moment, especially in the context of the STF, which hit the nail on the head.

On social media, Zema published videos with portraits of Daniel Vocaro and Dias Toffoli and stated, without mentioning names, that there are more authorities involved in the Master case.

In a publication, the governor wrote that, in Japan, “a minister involved in a scandal like this would have already committed suicide.”

President of Novo, Eduardo Ribeiro confirms the strategy and says that the party will soon present new initiatives in the area. “There’s a lot more to come,” he says, without elaborating.

In recent days, the opposition against the minister in the Senate, because of his involvement with the Master case. In the Chamber, federal deputy Adriana Ventura (Novo-SP) presented a constitutional amendment proposal to create a code of ethics in the STF.

The deputy who made the denunciation of Judiciary excesses a banner, Marcel Van Hattem (Novo-RS) says that the Master case gives new life to the agenda.

“For us, it doesn’t matter who it is, if they committed a crime of responsibility, as is the case with Toffoli, there must be impeachment”, he states.

Pre-candidate for the Senate, Van Hattem says that the issue will feature prominently in his campaign, and that of the party. “I don’t see any sense in not talking about the topic, especially as it is something that is fundamental to changing Brazil”, he states.
