Military ammunition was found at the bus station on Staničná street in Nitra. It was thrown in a plastic bag by the wall of the building. The Nitra City Police (MsP) informed about this on Monday.
A citizen reported the discovery of a plastic bag with ammunition. According to him, the shape of the found suspicious object resembled a bomb or material for its production. While inspecting the find from a distance, the MoP patrol peered into the plastic bag, the find resembled military ammunition. Together with the summoned police patrol, they secured the area until the arrival of the pyrotechnician.

The pyrotechnician confirmed that the bag contained two practice missiles intended for a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher. It is not yet known how the plastic bag ended up at the bus station.
