Almost a third of people in Europe suffer from sleep disorders

Sleep disorders are more common in Europe than previously thought. 31 percent of adults suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia and restless leg syndrome. The resulting annual costs run into hundreds of billions of euros, as an international research team with Austrian participation has shown based on scientific literature.
