School approaches Vai-Vai, record holder of titles; Golden Roses and Golden Eagle were demoted
A won this Tuesday (Feb 17, 2026) the title of the 2026 São Paulo Carnival. It is the school’s 13th achievement, which comes close to record holder with 15 cups. The group led the scoring during almost the entire count.
The school finished the count with 269.8 points, followed by Gaviões da Fiel, which totaled 269.7, and Dragões da Real, with 296.6. THE the 2025 champion, was relegated, as was the .
Already Tucuruvi and Pérola Negra schools were champions of the Access Group and will be in the Special Group in 2027.

With the plot “Malunga Léa – Rhapsody of a Black Goddess”the school paid tribute to actress Léa Garcia. The parade highlighted her role as Rosa in the soap opera “Slave Isaura”one of the most memorable of his career. He also showed his victory at the Cannes Festival, in 1957, for his performance in the film “Black Orpheus”who won the for Best International Film in 1970, representing France.
