The Slovak hockey representatives will start the semi-final match of the 2026 Olympic Games against the USA on Friday from 21:10. After the quarter-final matches, it was decided by the tournament directorate, which assigned specific pairs to predetermined times.
The second is made up of the Canadians and the Finns, who will meet on the same day from 4:40 p.m. also in Milan’s Santagiulia Arena in the battle for advancement to the finals. The duel for bronze medals is scheduled for Saturday, February 21 from 8:40 p.m., the final will take place on Sunday at 2:10 p.m.
The Slovaks reached the semi-finals of the Olympic tournament for the second time in a row after defeating the Germans 6-2 in the quarter-final match on Wednesday. It was the only quarterfinal duel in which the winner was not decided by overtime. The Americans broke into the top four with a 2-1 overtime win over Sweden. The Canadians succeeded against the Czechs 4:3 pp, the Finns managed to beat the Swiss 3:2 pp.
