Albuquerque (New Mexico) / Washington / New York – The New Mexico prosecutor’s office wants to reopen a criminal investigation into possible illegal activities on a ranch owned by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These were originally discontinued in 2019 at the request of the prosecutor’s office in the Southern District of New York. But the U.S. Department of Justice’s release of previously sealed Epstein files “warranted re-examination,” state prosecutor Raúl Torrez said on X.
