The minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) authorized this Thursday (19) that the former president () receive in March a visit from five allies in Papudinha, a Military Police battalion next to the Papuda Penitentiary Complex, in Brasília.
The opposition leader in the Senate, (PL-RN), may visit Bolsonaro on March 25th. The parliamentarian is the coordinator of the presidential campaign of the senator (PL-RJ), Bolsonaro’s son and chosen by the former president to replace him in the electoral race.
Moraes also authorized the visit of federal deputies Marco Feliciano (PL-SP), pre-candidate for re-election in the Chamber, and Bia Kicis (PL-DF), listed for one of the disputed Senate seats in the Federal District.
They will also be able to meet with Bolsonaro José Vicente Santini, special advisor to the governor of , (Republicans), and Anderson Moraes, secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation of Rio de Janeiro who should try to be elected .
Visits to Bolsonaro are being used by the opposition as a space to create strategies and validate names for the October elections. Jair Bolsonaro is serving a sentence of 27 years and 3 months in prison for an attempted coup d’état. He completed 6 months in prison at the beginning of February. The defense is trying to have him returned to house arrest, which was lost after the former president last November.
