This Thursday night (19) ended in tragedy in , a rural area in the municipality of , in the interior of Acre. A motorcyclist identified as Aglaildo da Silva Rocha, popularly known as “Rico”, died in an accident with circumstances yet to be clarified.
The accident occurred in an area that was difficult to access, and Samu was quickly called to provide assistance. The victim arrived consciously at the Acrelândia Mixed Health Unit, but, despite medical care, his condition worsened, resulting in death shortly afterwards.
The circumstances of the accident are still unknown, and local authorities must investigate the case to understand what caused the collision. Residents of the region lamented the death of “Rico” and reinforce their concern about safety on rural roads and branches, where accidents with motorcycles are common.
The episode serves as a warning about the need for extra care in rural traffic, remembering that the combination of low lighting, irregular stretches and speed can make any trip risky.
