After moving the public at Marquês de Sapucaí and becoming champion of the Carnaval 2026the samba school Unidos do Viradouro will repeat its historic parade in honor of drum master Ciça himself, in the center of Niterói.
According to information from the city hall, the presentation will take place on March 7thalready Avenida Amaral Peixotoand will have a complete school.
“It is Niterói’s pride! And so that all Niterói residents can celebrate this achievement, we are going to take the school to Amaral Peixoto, on March 7th, with all its grandeur. It will be an unforgettable night for our city”, said Mayor Rodrigo Neves, at the celebration party at the association’s court, in Barreto.
Marcelinho Calil, president of , also confirmed that the school will leave in the same way it paraded and became champion.
“The costumes will only be returned after this parade at Amaral Peixoto. We will bring everything that is in the shed. We owe it to our city because the population and the city hall support us throughout the year.”
