Schwechat Airport in Vienna has been struggling with heavy snowfall since the morning, with up to 20 centimeters of snow falling on Friday night alone. According to the airport data, at least 150 flights had to be canceled – some departures and arrivals could resume around noon on Friday. However, delays must be expected throughout the day, TASR informs based on a report from the DPA agency.

Tibor confirmed to the portal that the situation on the roads is catastrophic. “We left Galanta at 3:15 a.m. and we are still in Austria, just before Klagenfurt. About 330 kilometers from Bratislava is a disastrous journey. There are no traffic jams, but when you get behind the truck, you can’t go any further because you can’t get around it,” he described, adding that they should reach Milan in the early evening. “Honestly, in Vienna I already wanted to turn it home. But I’m going with my daughter, so I didn’t give up,” he added.
A similar situation affected the moderator Patrick Švajda. However, the longtime marquis is stuck in Stockholm. He commutes between Slovakia and Sweden to be with his son Leo, who plays hockey in the Nordic country. “We sympathize with all Slovaks who are stuck at the airport in Vienna.
