Linz/Salzburg/Klagenfurt – The Vienna Capitals are firmly in the pre-play-off of the ICE Hockey League three games before the end of the regular season. The Viennese won 3-1 against the Black Wings Linz on Friday and, as seventh in the table, can have legitimate hopes of going into the elimination round for the quarter-finals with home advantage. The KAC extended its lead in the table with a 2-0 win against Olimpija Ljubljana and will definitely have home advantage in the quarter-finals.
