Olivia Rodrigo will donate more than R$10 million to charities

The singer Olivia Rodrigo announced that it will allocate more than US$2 million (about R$10 million) from your tour profits “Guts World Tour” for organizations that support women’s reproductive rights, the prevention of gun violence, and girls’ access to education.

The “good 4 u” singer selected 10 non-profit institutions around the world to receive donations. According to Billboard, beneficiaries include foundations in the United States, Canada, Europe, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia and the Philippines.

She recently donated all profits from her debut show in the Philippines to women’s health organization Jhpiego. The sold-out show took place on October 5th at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue.

After the performance, Olivia shared the news on her Instagram, revealing that all net proceeds would go to the local cause, which is dedicated to ensuring quality healthcare for women.

“I’ve been dreaming about this show for a long time. My first time in the Philippines and also my biggest stage yet!!!!! Thank you to everyone in Manila for welcoming me so generously and making me feel so loved,” she wrote.

“I’m SO happy that all net proceeds from last night’s ticket sales can be donated to @jhpiego through my 4 good fund,” he explained.

Olivia also highlighted the importance of the organization after visiting it during her trip to Manila: “I was able to visit the organization while in Manila and was impressed with the work they are doing to provide healthcare for women and girls in the Philippines. It was the most special show and the most meaningful trip. Saying I’m grateful doesn’t even come close! Mahal kita.”
