Robert Makłowicz’s cheesecake consists of products typical of this cake. Mashed potatoes are an unusual addition.

What ingredients do we need to make it? ?

Ingredients for the cheese mass:

  • 1 kg of ground cottage cheese;
  • 1.5 tablespoons of mashed potatoes;
  • 8 yolks;
  • 4 proteins;
  • 300 g of powdered sugar;
  • 2 tablespoons of krupczatka flour;
  • 1 vanilla pod;
  • grated lemon peel;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • optional: a handful of raisins.

Ingredients for the cherry glaze:

  • 1.2 kg of frozen cherries;
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cloves;
  • a small piece of cinnamon bark.

First, mix the yolks, potatoes and powdered sugar. Then add cottage cheese and krupczatka flour. Then we add grated lemon peel, vanilla pod and raisins.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with salt until we obtain stiff foam then we need to mix it into the cheese mass. Thus prepared dough we put in oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake them for about 60 minutes.

The next step is to make the cherry glaze. For this purpose cook frozen cherries in a pot with sugar, ground cloves and cinnamon bark for 30 minutes. It is worth watering them with water. Pour this aromatic mousse over the cheesecake when serving. We can also sprinkle the baking with powdered sugar.
