The mayor of , Raimundo Toscano Veloso, was notified by the Court of Auditors of the State of Acre () within the scope of Process No. 148.978-TCE/AC, which determines responsibility for non-registration and/or registration outside the deadline of contracts for the year 2025, in non-compliance with Court Resolution No. 129/2024.

According to the notification, the manager was informed of the decision contained in Ruling No. 5,804/2025 of the 1st Chamber, which also opens a period of 15 working days for the presentation of an Appeal for Reconsideration, as provided for in the Court’s Internal Regulations and current legislation.

The document also determines that the mayor provides, within a maximum period of 30 days from notification, the insertion of other documents required by the standard into the system, relating to various adjustments signed throughout 2025, under penalty of sanctions being applied.

The Court reinforces that the deadlines and requirements regarding the registration of accessions, exemptions, unenforceability, accreditations, contracts and their amendments must be fully observed, as a way of guaranteeing transparency and control in public management.

TCE-AC’s actions aim to ensure compliance with standards and correctness by municipal managers, and may adopt administrative measures if irregularities are found.
