  • If you want to restore the whiteness of the tablecloths before Christmas Eve, do not use chemical cleaning agents, but try proven home methods.

One of them is, of course, baking soda, which has versatile use in the home.

It is universal a cleaning agent that also has bleaching properties. It will therefore be an ideal solution for a slightly yellowed tablecloth.

  • Just add 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda to warm water.
  • Immerse the tablecloth in this solution and let it act for several hours.
  • After this time, wash the fabric and enjoy the tablecloth, which has become white again and without unpleasant odors.

If you don’t like soda, reach for the lemon juice. This is another way of making natural bleach that can help restore the whiteness of your tablecloth. Lemon works on a similar principle to baking soda.

  • Add 3-4 teaspoons of lemon juice to a bowl of water in which the tablecloth is soaked.

Although this is not an obvious method, it is extremely effective.

  • If you want to whiten the tablecloth using curdled milk, simply mix the product with water in a ratio of 1:8.
  • Place a yellowed tablecloth in this solution and leave it for several hours, or preferably overnight.
  • The next day, remove the tablecloth from the mixture and wash it as usual – by hand or in the washing machine.
