Actress Christina Applegate (54) spoke openly about being bedridden due to multiple sclerosis. In an interview with People magazine, she said that she often has long-term pain they force her to stay in bed, yet she still tries to function as a mother.
The star of the series Married with Obligations described that despite her health problems, she tries to drive her fifteen-year-old daughter Sadie to school and to other activities. “I want to drive her, it’s my favorite thing. It’s the only time we have to ourselves. I’m like, ‘Just get her to safety and get home so you can go back to bed.’ And that’s what I do“, Christina zoomed in.
The actress admitted that her health limitations allowed her to be more open. “My life is not wrapped up in a bow. People’s lives, pardon the expression, are bloody hard sometimes. That’s why I’m as honest and raw as I can be,” she added.
Applegate announced that she has multiple sclerosis in August 2021. The disease causes weakness, numbness, difficulty walking and difficulty seeing. In August of last year, she told fans that she was hospitalized for excruciating pain.
