Marielle’s mother felt bad at the moment the rapporteur, a minister, gave his vote. Anielle’s press office reported that Marinete is doing well.
Luyara left the class plenary just over an hour later, around 11:45 am. Crying, she was wheeled out of the room by rescuers. The young woman was accompanied by Anielle and Mônica Benício. Returned at 12:25 pm.

Moraes stated, in his vote, that Marielle’s death unites “the political issue with misogyny, racism and discrimination”.
“Marielle was a black, poor woman, who was, we would say, in the popular sense, ‘supporting’ the interests of militia members. What would be the strongest message that could be sent, in the misogynistic and prejudiced minds of those in charge and executors, who would care about that? A head of 50 years, 100 years ago, ‘We will eliminate her, and this will have no repercussions'”, he declared.
Defendants in the case are former deputy Chiquinho Brazão, his brother Domingos Brazão, advisor to the TCE-RJ (State Audit Court), delegate Rivaldo Barbosa, former head of , and two PMs. They deny the accusations.
After Moraes, ministers Cristiano Zanin, Cármen Lúcia and Flávio Dino – president of the First Panel of the STF – will vote, in the following order.
