Brava agrees sale of natural gas infrastructure in RN to PetroRecôncavo

Brava Energia () and PetroRecôncavo () announced this Wednesday a partnership that involves the sale of 50% of the natural gas flow and processing infrastructure in the Potiguar Basin to PetroRecôncavo, in addition to gas supply commitments between the companies.

The value of the transaction is US$65 million and provides for payment of 35% upon signing and the remainder upon closing of the deal, the companies said in separate statements.

According to Brava, the agreement has an exclusivity period of 60 days for the precedent conditions for signing the definitive contract to be met.

The flow and processing infrastructure includes the Natural Gas Processing Units II and III and the LPG Spheres, located in the Guamaré Industrial Asset (AIG), in addition to the gas pipeline that connects the Brava and PetroReconcavo producing fields to the AIG.

The Natural Gas Processing Units II and III have a total processing capacity of 3 million cubic meters per day, according to PetroRecôncavo.

“The partnership between Brava and PetroReconcavo in the Rio Grande Norte natural gas midstream aims to improve efficiency and maximize the use of infrastructure assets, reducing operational costs and increasing the reliability of the production and flow of natural gas and derivatives in the region” , Brava said in its statement.
